Benjamin Brood is a collection of old anatomical models, sawdust, and dried insect husks found on window sills. Born in a drafty garret to an American father and a Russian mother, as a child he played behind large stacks of books, eating stale saltines. He would fall asleep with his head on a tattered copy of the collected works of Daniil Kharms, dreaming in slow Tarkovsky dissolves of talking cats.
